"My Anxious Mind: A Teen's Guide to Managing Anxiety and Panic," Tomkins
Book Review by Ottawa Teens:
My Anxious Mind is a great book for anyone to read. There pictures and diagrams to help explain some of the ideas visually along with easy to follow readings. The book is set up into different
chapters and within them there are sub- chapters with explanations, stories, and interactive actives such as charts that you can fill out based on your own personal experience. This book really helps
anyone weather you have an anxious mind or not, to understand anxiety and learn some techniques to help get it under control. I recommend this book to any teen and even parents. I think that both
readers can gain insight on how to either deal with anxiety - themselves, or to help someone else cope such as a child or a friend.

The book is great and helps but can get very very boring and dry but that's my opinion.
And should have more connections to teens and more entertainment to keep the reader involved.
But thars some things I learned to help me with anxiety Like putting the worry's on paper and and rating them out of ten. )

##########"Honestly, it's a great book! It taught me more about the feelings I have and how to manage my "worry wheel' (Anxious Mind, Anxious Actions, and Anxious Body) when it starts spinning.
I also love the fact that it mentions the storys of other teens facing the samething. I would honestly recommend this book for everyone. Wheter you have anxiety yourself or if you just want to know more about anxiety I recommend this book!!
