About Consulting Paediatrics

The consulting paediatrician’s role involves assessment, diagnosis, formulating and implementing treatments for children and youth with a broad range of health issues (as opposed to primary care, the ongoing care of healthy children).  Dr Gillies sees patients on referral from family and specialist physicians.  She welcomes referrals about biophysical, developmental, mental health, behavioural and school concerns.  She works in close partnership with referring physicians to ensure the most effective ongoing care.
